About

Crooked Street Press started one sunny afternoon down on Crissy Field in San Francisco. Fritz and Dan were sitting on a bench smoking a fine cigar and enjoying the nice day when Dan started offering a puff of his cigar to babies and little furry cute dogs as they passed. Fritz scolded this stupidity and said that they needed to do something productive with thier time and not waste it teaching little kids how to smoke. Forty-nine percent shareholder Dan Wheeler decided to steal an idea that 51% shareholder Fritz had thought of years ago. “Why not start a website where we can make jokes and have fun with a San Francisco twist?” Dan stole.

A pact was forged. Fritz had thought the pact had ment that equal amounts of work would go into this venture but alas Dan proved to slow the progress of this website down by trips to Mexico, having a baby (and trying to teach her to smoke), starting a new job, and moving into a new apartment. Fritz however pulled ahead and took over operations, production, and sales. Popularity soared and soon Crooked Street Press has come to be what you see before you. All thanks to the dream of Fritz and a leach like Dan.
