Daly Sent to His Room Without Dinner

“If I hear one more word out of you mister you’re grounded!” -Aaron Peskin Board President of the Budget and Finance Committee

San Francisco- San Francisco Supervisor Chris Daly was sent to his room on Friday without dinner for causing a very public hissy fit in front of the Budget and Finance Committee.

Daly had been sitting as the committee chairmanship over the cities budget but when Mayor Gavin Newsoms’ budget plan hit a all out war between the two gentlemen over a small $37 million issue.

“It was like two girls going at it in the school yard.” Said Sal Birchman, another board member and local pervert. “It was hot.”

Board President Aaron Peskin after seeing all the hair pulling and biting he had to separate the two boys which forced Daly to his room while Newsom had to stay and finish his peas. Witnesses say that the rest of the dinner was very quiet and unpleasant after that with not much conversation.

Although Daly was not able to be reached at his room because of a sign on his door that read “No Girls or Media Allowed”, Crooked Street Press had to interview the neighbor who as it turns out was not involved and had been at the grocery store when the incident happened.

“I don’t know what happened.” Martha Jenkins the neighbor said. “I told you I was at the grocery store.”

Newsom applauded Peskins decision even though he had to finish his peas. Peskins favoritism proved to be the killer blow that Daly & Co. was not wanting to hear. With Newsom’s budget plan, $37 million would be spent on police academy classes, street improvements, a community justice court, a 311 call center, and chocolete syrup in the drinking fountains. The Daly budget was more geared towards affordable housing projects and a “Slip-N-Slide in the hall way of the City Hall.

There is no telling how long Peskin will keep Daly up in his room. All we can know for sure is that this punishment to Daly hurts Peskin more than it does Daly.
