San Francisco- Supervisor Ed Jew did not get quite the response he was looking for Thursday after turning in papers saying that the investigation into questions regarding where he lives has been racist against Asians. Chinatown announced Thursday that it was going to move down the peninsula to Burlingame to join Jew and his family in the fight against racism.
“It’s nice to know that the Asian community is willing to go this far.” Ed Jew supporter Lucy Cho said.
“No don’t move to Burlingame!” Ed Jew cried. “Remember guys, I live in the Sunset…right?”
City Attorney Dennis Herrera was dismissive of these new developments saying that the protest of moving to Burlingame was not planned very well and only proves even more that Jew never lived in San Francisco.
The City of Burlingame issued a statement regarding the sudden protest migration that, “…although asians are welcome in our city we really don’t want the angry ones.”
The protest is expected to start over the All-Star break weekend and the California Highway Patrol has issued a warning for people to stay off the roads as Asian tend to not to know how to drive moving vans very well.
